Draw My Character! Round 8

Here's a contest for every single one of you people who create original characters!

Let me start off by explaining how this contest works:

I'll start the first round by posting a character of my own--And who ever wants to enter--will draw that character in their own style. Participants get a month to get their entry in.

Once the deadline for this round has come to pass, I will pick one winner--based on time, effort, how well they portray the character, and so forth.

If you are that winner, then I will ask you to send me a reference image and a personality description of the character you want to have drawn--and that character will become the subject for round two. I'll post it in another news article just like this--and all participants of that round will be required to draw your character. :]
After the deadline for round 2 passes, you'll get a week to pick a winner, tell me who that winner is and why you chose them over everyone else.

Then, I contact that winner, ask them what character they'd like to have drawn, and repeat the whole process!

So--what does this mean for you?

Simple!
Draw my character, if you win, your prize is that you get a bunch of other artists drawing your character in hopes to become the next winner!
That could equate to a lot of people drawing your character over the span of one month!

There are no rules beyond that, really.
Just don't insult other people's creations, and don't post anything that's against the rules of DeviantART.

Additional info:
Arandik, often given nicknames like Randy, Andy, (sometimes called Randall or Andrew by some who hear only the nicknames) or something strange like Weefle (which, turns out, is an old talik word for "coward"), is... well, for a start, he is a talik. One of a race of brown furred climbing creatures that once lived in trees not much unlike squirrels, although now several times bigger and more omnivorous, with "flat" faces like a human's, of which the fur frames around the cheeks as well as the tops of the hands and feet, and a nose similar to a cat's.

Randy is a linguist, probably first of his kind on his home world of Lekka, although not entirely through study. He is mildly telepathic, even if he doesn't realize it, capable of understanding other spoken languages, and sensing meanings behind hand-written word.

He is also somewhat of an agoraphobic at the start of my story (at 16/17 years old), rarely leaving his cave of ancient artifacts collected up over the years with his parents-- now presumed dead after they had gone missing some years before. Now a pariah of the settlement Larok for unfortunately related reasons, he lives outside society just trying to survive. That is, until Deichez, freshly banished herself, comes to him for help.

He is shy and dorky, with messy orange hair, somewhat pale freckled skin, over-sized glasses/goggles, and a tooth gap. Talik teeth are, in appearance, much like human teeth, aside from the elongated canines, giving them a bit of a vampiric or beastly look.

His clothing is still a bit unstable and somewhat undecided, so have fun playing with colors, accessories, and additions to the basic tunic design(s)!

The deadline for this round is August 16th! That gives you one full month to get your entries in!
