Draw My Character! Round 1

Here's a contest for every single one of you people who create original characters!

Let me start off by explaining how this contest works:

I'll start the first round by posting a character of my own--And who ever wants to enter--will draw that character in their own style. Participants get a month to get their entry in.

Once the deadline for this round has come to pass, I will pick one winner--based on time, effort, how well they portray the character, and so forth.

If you are that winner, then I will ask you to send me a reference image and a personality description of the character you want to have drawn--and that character will become the subject for round two. I'll post it in another news article just like this--and all participants of that round will be required to draw your character. :]
After the deadline for round 2 passes, you'll get a week to pick a winner, tell me who that winner is and why you chose them over everyone else.

Then, I contact that winner, ask them what character they'd like to have drawn, and repeat the whole process!

So--what does this mean for you?

Simple!
Draw my character, if you win, your prize is that you get a bunch of other artists drawing your character in hopes to become the next winner!
That could equate to a lot of people drawing your character over the span of one month!

There are no rules beyond that, really.
Just don't insult other people's creations, and don't post anything that's against the rules of DeviatART.

I'm starting off with a character of my own:


His name is Turu--there's a small description of his personality in the artist's comments. If you want to know more about him and/or his back story, send me a note, and I'll tell you everything and anything I can!

The deadline is November 15th. That's exactly 1 month from now. If you don't get your entry in by 12am MST, then you'll have to wait for the next round to get an entry in.

You are not required to participate in every round of this contest! Just pick and chose according to your availability :]
